What are usage credits?

Usage credits are what power actions in your app - from running AI features and sending emails to generating images or fetching data. Each action uses a small number of credits, depending on how complex it is. For example, generating an AI image or running an agent workflow consumes more credits than sending a simple email. They're designed to give you flexibility and transparency - you only spend credits when your app or agents perform real actions.

Why usage varies

Not all actions are equal. Some are simple (like sending an email), while others involve multiple steps or models working behind the scenes. Also The more data your agent processes, the more tools it uses, and the more steps it performs — the higher the usage cost. That's why usage credits are dynamic. They depend on:

• The tools and actions used in your workflow.
• The size and complexity of the AI request (how much information is sent to and received from the model).
• The number of steps your workflow runs (each step might include a new model call or tool action).

What affects your cost and why it's hard to predict?

The total usage depends mainly on:

• Complexity of the workflow – how many steps or tools are used.
• Context length – how much information the agent processes.
• AI model used – larger models consume slightly more credits.

So a simple internal workflow might use only a few credits per run, while an AI agent combining data, research, and automation might use a few dozen. Because each workflow and agent can behave differently, there's no fixed cost per run — it depends on what you've built and how complex the task is.

How to estimate your usage

You can easily check and plan your usage:

• Preview your workflow logic — in the Logic layer, you can see which tools and steps are included and estimate their cost.
• Run the app once — then open the Billing page to view exactly how many credits were used. This helps you understand the average credit cost per run and plan accordingly.

Staying in control

You always stay in control of your usage:

• You can monitor your balance and credit history anytime in the Billing page.
• You can upgrade or top up credits whenever you need.

Note on pricing updates: We continuously improve and expand our tools and AI models. As part of this, usage rates may change from time to time to reflect updated costs and model pricing. Any changes will always be reflected transparently in your Billing dashboard.
